The sunset tour is fully guided and narrated and walks you from El Tovar Lodge to Yavapai Point, where we’ll watch the sunset. to the most scenic, iconic places at Grand Canyon National Park. We begin our walk at El Tovar Lodge and walk to Yavapai Point. The tour guide will set up for sunset, walk back and retrieve the van, and meet you right before sunset. The walk takes about two hours and we’ll set up about forty five minutes before sunset so you can enjoy dusk and the stunning color changes. Each sunset is different but the best ones are just after inclement weather. It’s extremely remote, stunning, and beautiful, where you’ll feel the tranquility and surreal nature of the Grand Canyon overwhelm you..
Our Grand Canyon Sunset Tour is designed to offer you a stunning sunset at Grand Canyon National Park while maximizing your Grand Canyon tour experience. The pickup times vary throughout the year because of the sunset times. We’ll pick up our guests between 6-6:45am, swing by McDonald’s for breakfast, stop off at Hoover Dam for a photo op, Kingman (Arizona) for a rest stop, Route 66 for a photo op, and then make our way to Grand Canyon National Park. We’ll park the van at El Tovar Lodge, do some quick souvenir shopping, and begin our walk to Yavapai Point. We’ll stop and have our lunch shortly after arriving, enjoy the views, and bask in the tranquility of the Grand Canyon. This is a long day but it’s absolutely worth the one day of your life. There’s not a lot of long days worth it but this will easily be some of the most stunning scenery you’ll ever see.
